Some people have faith but they are not able to articulate what that faith is founded upon. The faith of the Christian is founded upon the word of God. Notice what the Bible says about why God has provided herbs...
He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth Psalms 104:14
Whether wild herbs, vegetables or food in general, the Lord provides it to serve mankind.

You should not use herbs as a means to treat disease or illness unless and only if you have followed these steps first in dealing with disease symptoms.
1. Ascertain the cause
2. Correct the wrong habits and change the unhealthful conditions
and then...
3. Assist the body to heal itself
The use of herbs should complement obedience to the 8 laws of health. More information about this at www.issues-of-life.com under health issues.
to be continued...

ReplyDeleteWhere can you purchase some of the herbs listed? Also do you recommend them in their natural state or will a pill or tablet suffice?
Thanks
GR
Hi GR. Believe it or not, you can probably find most of these in capsule form at Walmart.
ReplyDeleteA whole foods or organic market store would also carry these herbs. You can even just as easily order them online for very low prices.
Go to Amazon.com and do a search for any particular herb you may be interested in.
www.vitacost.com is another very good, low cost, brand name supplier.
Whether we take them in the natural state or in pill or capsule form will depend on the condition or purpose for which it is being used.
I often use the capsule form if we don't have the herb on hand in its natural form. With the capsule, I can empty its contents into water or juice and receive only the herb. Extracts and tinctures are even more powerful and effective.
I try to avoid tablets and pills as they are often coated with something other than the herb itself.
